One day at Alila Seminyak Bali!

Bali is arguably the most popular island in Indonesia. It’s come to a point that I’m unsure of where to stay when I go to Bali cos there are so many hotels and resorts these days. Well, it really comes down to whether you want somewhere private or cheap because you can find everything in Bali.

This time, my journey with #TripOfWonders and @indtravel ends in Bali. It’s been extremely fun but exhausting traveling from one place to another. Starting from Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Lombok to Labuan Bajo, my body was more than ready for some hard-earned rest, especially since after this trip, I have to immediately go to Labuan Bajo again to shoot an episode of #JurnalIndonesiaKaya. Huge thanks to the organiser who gifted us the ultimate comfort and relaxation at Alila Seminyak  which is located right next to Potato Head Beach Club Bali.

As soon as we arrived at Alila Seminyak, various complimentary refreshing vanity products awaited us in the lobby from face mist to sunblock; you can find everything on every table. The lobby is open air, it is truly delightful here, plenty of cool shadows when the sunlight is right so your photographs are guaranteed to be instagram material. Alila Seminyak offers exceptional amenities, from the incredible infinity pool for some water fun to the fancy beach club that directly faces the stunning beach.

In the room there’s a lovely welcome card from Alila Seminyak (feels like you’ve received a love letter haha), the mattress is super comfortable, it feels like you’re being embraced by the clouds. Some of the team got rooms with the seaside view, so nice, right? (I’m not one of them but I still went to their rooms to take pictures haha).

Because I’m a Pisces (I know, no one asked, shush…) I spent most of my time in the swimming pool, especially the infinity pool, while taking in the view surrounding the lively yet still beautiful Petitenget Beach, the sound of the waves, the gentle breeze of the south wind, all of this adds to the amazing swimming experience in the infinity pool.

Next time I go to Bali and I want to find a place where everything’s there at your disposal, I definitely would pick Alila Seminyak,  with its minimalist design, massive rooms for those who want to vacation with their family, as a couple or even if you’re traveling by yourself. From the amazing swimming pool, restaurants and scrumptious food, I totally recommend staying here for the breakfast buffet, oh my God, it was ridiculously good, especially the fresh juice. Having breakfast with the beach in front of you, sunbathing in the morning sun, it’s indescribable. I’m definitely returning here and I hope when I do, we’ll see each other, yeah?

Happy traveling, I hope we cross paths!

Cheers,

Febrian
